A defective tire can lose air, sound wobbly, cause the vehicle to drive to one side, or make a ride bumpier.
With a defective tire, the vehicle may shake more than normal on both smooth and bumpy roads. The axle on which the tire sits will be at an angle, rather than parallel to the ground. This will cause the vehicle to shake as the car moves.
As with the vehicle shaking, a tire with uneven wear or leaking air will tilt the axle and cause the vehicle to pull to one side.
A defective tire may leak air. This can be caused by a break in the tire, or an improper seal against the wheel.
If the tire is improperly inflated or under-inflated, the tire may wear abnormally. This will cause variations in the tread that can cause the vehicle to pull to one side or make the tire sound wobbly.
