That just seems terrifying. I'd be tempted to hit the brakes or steer if it did something I didn't like. One solution would be to get thin the back seat, but then I'd be even more terrified.


A video demonstration of SARTRE, or Safe Road Trains for the Environment. The idea is to use radio signals from a lead vehicle to determine the path of a number of following vehicles. The following vehicles would steer, brake, and drive themselves, allowing for the driver(passenger) to focus on other things.
