How to Edit an Article or Tutorial

This tutorial is to show how to edit an article or tutorial on RideFix.com

Steps

Step 1: Create an Element

Simply click on the top bar in order create the element you want. I am working on getting the cursor to focus on the newly created element. Eventually we will have it.

Step 2: Click and hold the element heading bar

To rearrange the order of the elements, simply click and hold the top gray part of the element. Look for the hand in the blue circle for draggable elements.

Step 3: Move the element where you want

Simply move the element to the position you want, and release the button. It will drop in place.

Step 4: Save the article

Click on save at the bottom of the page. It's that easy!

Step 5: RideFix Markup Language

You can alter the visual appearance of an article by adding our markup language to any element.

Step 6: Bold, italic, and underline

To make text bold, italic, or underline, simple wrap the words with either two dashes(--)a b for bold, i for italic, or u for underline two dashes(--). This opens the tag. To close the tag, use the same method, but instead of two dashes, use to slashes(//) on both sides of the b, i, or u.

Step 9: Citing Sources

To cite a source from another website, use two dashes(--) the letters "fn" then open parenthesis "( ", the title of the article, a comma "," the complete web address e.g. http://www.ridefix.com. Then close parenthesis ")", and two dashes(--). This does not need a "closing tag".
